I have decided this is the year to tackle the fabric scraps I can't seem to part with. I found this pattern for a Moroccan pouf and I have just the tapestry fabric for it. This will also give the furry one a new place to perch.
The pattern is on the Examiner website, complete with DIY instructions.

Whew! It seems to have passed....
I knew it wouldn't stay empty long.

This holds a lot of stuff, about 3 shopping bags full and it still isn't finished. It will take me some time to get it filled completely, but at least now there is a place to put all of those pesky fabric scraps. This is the large version of the pouf on the examiner website.

Wait. So, you are putting the fabric scraps into the pouf? That's brilliant!
I have some scraps in there now, along with paper and packing material, but eventually it will just hold scrap fabrics, like the strips that come off the serger. I think I should have started with the smaller version though, this one is huge.
That is so cool! Thanks for sharing the pattern source for it :)
Aren't they? I think I need more.
Great idea - I have a huge bag of scraps and I love to put my feet up when lounging on the couch. Talk about two birds with one stone!
Lol and you can match it to your decor.
